So this begs the question how many kids do these 10 deadbeats have on the state welfare rolls and how many kids and grand kids do the 6 "accessories after the fact" have?
overall a staggering cost to taxpayers and will only grow.

My suggestion would be to let more inmates escape, so the law can continue to catch those that help them. Really tighten the screws down on the these yahoos.

National news continues to cover the jail break. Tonight, inside dude made national broadcast as well as (they really love the footage) of the group escape scattering like so many roaches.

New Orleans District Attorney Jason Williams and his assistant DAs got AK-47 tattoos to celebrate Derrick Groves' who was convicted in a gang-related double murder case in October 2024. The AK-47 tattoo is often associated with gang membership. Derrick Groves is a member of the Byrd Gang. Coincidentally Groves is one of the escapees.
