The 1 people are cheering for most is Derrick Groves... the grandson of Kim Groves, the woman who was murdered on the order of NOPD officer Len Davis after she filed a brutality complaint against Davis back in the 90s
And yes... Derrick Groves was convinced of 2 counts of murder & 2 counts of manslaughter

Has it been asked why these guys stayed in the Nola area? Why not steal a car immediately upon the breakout and drive as far north as the gas tank would take your then do it again? If they wanted a new life they should be up in illinois or new york or someplace no where near the prison they were housed at

i bet most of these dude just saw the opportunity and escaped with no real plan
pretty clever by whoever planned it. Spread resources chasing 10 guys instead of just 1 or 2

Not just the restaurant owners, Ha Vu & Chong Vu... but Antoinette Frank killed her NOPD partner in that restaurant as well, Ronald Williams
ETA: Biden commuted Len Davis's death sentence to life in prison... but Davis filed a motion in court asking to have his death sentence reinstated
