Great day for New Orleans and Louisiana. I'm very happy to see that we're curing racism, one inanimate statue at a time.

They are going to vote to remove them.

Not at all. There is no reason to support former enemies of America representing New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.
They represented Louisiana from an over reaching federal government. Sound familiar?

Robert E. Lee was a better statesmen than 99% of politicians in this state and the country as a whole.
I doubt Landrieu and the City Council have the ability to read on a college level. If they could, then I'd suggest that they pick up a fricking history book before making a decision. Of course, why let research get in the way of hyper-emotional decision making?

Still haven't started yet. Never on time.

You can't make this shite up. Now the USA was the bad guy in the civil war, too. Some of you

Well he didn't call them the bad guys. But at the time, that's what they did I guess.

What exactly compels you to think the union was the "good guy" in that conflict?

You can call it hyper emotional decision making, too PC, SJW's, liberals, the list goes on..
I call it honoring someone who stood for everything our country is against. Isn't that what a statue is? Recognizing a great historical figure?
I don't see why people are scared shitless to simply put confederate statues in a museum where they belong. Do they think it will take away their cultural pride?

Is there any doubt about the outcome?

Really? You think Robert E. Lee was someone who stood for everything our country is against?
Please, go on, tell us a few items that come to your mind when you you make such a brave statement.

Robert E. Lee was a great man and a great American. You should educate yourself if you want to be taken seriously.
Or not, the choice is yours.
