The hipster transplants are taking the hate the rest of the state feels for New Orleans to a whole other level.

He has a few James Beard nominations, not sure if he has ever won any

This dude is the kind of a-hole you see on Kitchen Nightmares that ends up so stupid Gordon Ramsey refuses to help. This fat frick has such an inflated ego, you would think he has culturally significant, but in all honesty nobody cares about him. We can only hope another Katrina would come through, but just hit him and his restaurants into oblivion so we would never have to hear about him again, except when remembering how much of a worthless waste of life and space he was, if we could even spare a meaningful second to do so, cause he's not worth remembering to begin with.

What a fricking piece of shite. He may not be an immigrant, but can we send him back to whatever country his family came from?

Was something to brag and puff your chest out, if you were a chef.

Winning is still something impressive, but being nominated isn't like what it once was. A lot of nominations compared to years ago.

And so many categories.

That sucks that the restaurants are actually good. Either way judging by this guys trolling on review posts he's obviously been POS. I'm sure they'll be closing with the lockdowns unless Destroya looks down with favor on him, which may be what he is going for.

And yes basically all of North and Central La loved Letlow, he would certainly get accosted up there for that remark

Last year was the last year these will ever carry any meaning. THey didn'y even hold them this year because they were afraid of the backlash for not being "inclusive" enough. So rest assured they will not longer be awarded on merit once they pick up again.

High Hat and Ancora are doing very well right now. Went to High Hat for lunch on Saturday and it was rolling.

Interesting. But would make sense if he's super vocal about lib stuff, surely they are immune to wanton inspections and what not from State departments.

Speaking of steak, I hope Charlie's Steakhouse or whatever uptown is doing well. Cool place. Its the really old restaurants I'm concerned with closing.
