Getting crushed right now in the general vicinity of the causeway, I sure could go for the wind switching directions

I'm not sure how the oaks surrounding my street aren't down.

I have 2 60’ tall cypress trees by the street that are bending all the way to the house, officially starting to freak out

This is difference between the storm staying northwest vs turning due north when it did. Eye is as close to New Orleans as it’s been and appears set to buzz Laplace and norco. The eye is going to get around 20 miles of New Orleans with this pass

Still hanging in Lakeview. Wind is unreal, way worse than Zeta last year. Large majority of the metropolitan area is going to have property damage.

How much longer is this wind anticipated?

No shite, I could go for a break

I’m just watching it on the MyRadar app, but I think it’s 30-60 more minutes before the eyes starts moving further away from the city than it is right now.
But I have no real idea that’s me literally just eyeballing off the radar app.

Way worse than Zeta and the wind damage will be monumental

Actually probably very soon.. MyRadar I assume is delayed a bit and it has eye more or less over lac des allemands right now.
So it should be moving further away from Nola from this point on with Nola moving out of the NE quadrant to the SE quadrant.
