Last time I was there with my vehicle (two years ago) I got a speeding ticket and ignored all the mail.
I think the mayor told some lies about dropping all the old shite so I assume that didn’t happen.
If I leave my car parked on the street in Lakeview for a few days what are the chances I get the boot?

Chances are 50/50. Parking enforcement has the mobile scanner vans. Saw one near Touro last week. If you can park in driveway, you're safe. Good Luck!

Depends on if the license plate scan-van happens to drive down that street. Probably be alright but it's a gamble. If you park it in a private parking lot they cant pop you.

There is a new ordinance that was passed saying you have to have three outstanding tickets to get the boot.

If they happen to drive down the street, you are going to get booted if they catch you. They hit Lakeview and Uptown pretty hard knowing these people will pay the ticket and have the boot removed. Do you think they do New Orleans East? Nobody paying to get boot removed, they do self removal.

The camera tickets may be different (I can't recall), but I know in the summer last year, the number of unpaid parking tickets you needed to get the boot went from 1 to 3.

I used to keep a small piece of cardboard in my truck and use it to obscure my plate so the readers can’t pick it up
