They did, however models have been consistent at hinting at some major changes occurring over the basin since then. They were forced to make changes to the outlook.

It's gonna be a wild season to track, likely for the Gulf of Mexico, too. Get ready.

Irma sounds like a threat to the islands, Marie sounds like a Gulf of Mexico threat, Tammy sounds like one to go into Belize, and Philippe sounds like a Haiti threat.
