Same. They were going inside and ordering beer and shots to go and sitting in, on, and around cars in the parking lot. Seemed pretty brave to me

I'm torn. This is a BS rule, and yet, I'm not sad to see places like this shut down, places like this are a stain on the city, even in the best of times.
The fact that I have to defend Willie's really pisses me off, but I think I do have to.

You can defend the concept of a business operating a certain way without supporting that business or its owners.
It would be hypocritical of you to say that all businesses should be open except for Motwani-owned businesses.

None of this is new, and we have plenty of lawyers in the state.
Fact is, these governors / parish presidents / mayors have an obscene amount of emergency power.
The way to fix this, unfortunetly, is to elect better politicians who won't be this extreme, and/or in the future, limit emergency powers. Just because these executives have this much power now, doesn't mean it can't be regulated in the future. But that will need to come from the voters / the councils/legislatures, not the courts.

They always start with something you don't GAF about. Then they move onto the stuff you do care about and you don't have a leg to stand on. Just like the 2 dead bodies that she has ignored for the last 10 months.
