northern pointe coupee parish had some serious hail, but it didn't get even as far south as Morganza

frick LSU.

They keep building and admitting students but have placed zero investment in their infrastructure. LSU flooding during any kind of rain event is a tale as old as time.

As a Metairie resident back in 1995. May 8 always brings up bad memories.

Got slammed in Mid-City not long ago with heavy rain, high winds and serious lightning.

One strike hit no more than 100 ft. from my house while the wife and I were on the back porch and it sent us inside with the quickness. No warning, just a bright flash of light and deafening boom.

Depending on where you are and are going, sometimes there's no other real option.

I make it to work via interstate in about 15-20 minutes when traffic is good. Using surface streets, it's close to an hour, if everything is moving and I don't hit any lights.
