I’ve got just over 2 acres and just bought a new Bad Boy mower. I feel like I’m driving a muscle car around when I cut it

That's quite a bit. Before my dad passed, he had 4 1/2 acres to cut. I would get on his zero turn and go full speed.
I never want a yard anywhere close to that size.

Never messed around with their mowers but their chainsaws and hedge trimmers are high quality

Oh, it's possible. Never underestimate the sloppiness of a kid who's unmotivated to do it right.
My stepson's job, when he was living under my roof was grass cutting and he'd do his best to screw it up, but he soon learned it didn't work since I'd make him do it until it was right.
It did take a few episodes of pissing and moaning on his part before he finally caught on.

Our lawn guy ghosted us when covid started. We paid a young man in the neighborhood to cut our grass a few times but then he stopped coming around. We went all in on the EGO battery powered lawn equipment system and the stuff is great. Customer service has been lacking during covid but I think it is a combination of them being so busy, peak season and covid. Their battery powered stuff actually works well unlike others. You can buy from Home depot right now and they have a 6 month return window on this stuff so if you get a dud just swap it out.

I was my dad’s lawn service from age 8 to 18. Seemed a lot longer than 10 years.

Lmao they see pops is too lazy to do it but he’ll make his kids do it to save a few bucks that won’t go to them? Yeah that’s not going to breed any animosity or anything. Lead by example.

yeah thats worth it for the tiny yard, but at that rate, it would cost me almost 400 bucks a cut...i will stick to my 3-4 hrs of cruising with ear buds and some beer.

One of a parent’s job is teaching attention to detail. If your kid doesn’t do it right take away his phone until he does it right. It won’t take long.
