Would you rather live in Minnesota with no heat or south Louisiana with no AC?

Is a wood fire allowed?

I can build that, I can't build an AC unit.

No one is just sitting around dropping dead from heat.

Freezing to death is a lot more likely.

Lol

Every time we have one of those multiple day 100+ degree runs like 20 old people in Memphis die from the heat

People from Louisiana have no idea what real cold weather is. There is a reason the majority of people live near the equator and no one lives near the poles

You're right. None of us have ever left the state during the winter

Louisiana. If you fall to sleep and the fire goes out in Minnesota you die

I liked being able to put a room temp beer outside and it being a slushie in ten minutes

No heat easily. You can make fires, cover up, shelter

Can only do so much to fight the heat

Because up until very recent history it was way harder to survive a winter gone wrong

But today?

Not as important

How do you feel about no indoor plumbing for a large chunk of the winter? Frozen pipes are gonna a major problem

Me and a buddy went to a playoff game in Green Bay one year in January. It was like minus 5. No ice chest needed but your beer would definitely freeze.

I’ve lived in both climates and there is no debate on the answer. AC is a must have.
