I find it funny that anyone from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, or Tennessee would ever consider Destin as being a trashy town.

Why, thank you, Chicken!

Actually, bumpkins can be found lounging about on the beaches of South Walton as well. But I think they're from states northerly adjacent. TDC doin' work!

Will never happen. Way too far south for the camo crocs to drive and also the beaches are filled with shells. Kelli aint going to go for walking and laying on shells to get her tan on.

I've always heard it was the proverbial "little Florida fishing village" then. I think Pensacola Beach and Panama City Beach were the only sort of decent sized "tourist spots" on the Panhandle before the 70s.

I don't know what you people are going on about. Trashy people are 100X more fun than regular people. Keep Destin trashy imo.

Well when you spend most of yourBeach time in Gulfport, Destin feels amazing. My kids aren’t old enough do you know the difference yet

Hate to break it to you baws but they country has grown. TD calls everywhere that’s busy trashy, and there’s not many spots that aren’t busy anymore these days.

30A isn’t just one thing. There’re tons of variations on a 30A vacation. Some are nightmares.

Let me guess, you saw lots of tattoos?

Boo hoo. In this day and age, it makes me chuckle that people are still so bothered by tattoos

Last time I was there they were overrun by Bama fans. And selling Bama shirts at discount after a rather embarrassing loss. Fun place that day.

Having spent multiple weeks in Panama City in the last two months, trust me Destinis way nicer and less trashy. It’s relative though.

The absolute state of Destin. When did it become a low class destination spot?

In the 2000's. Tattoos, steroids, bro cuntry, nu-metal, Limp Bizkit, and the skanks that dug all that shite. Destin was quiet in the 80's and most of the 90's.
