A buddy had a 2010ish titan that the computer system go out. He traded it in for the Titan XD diesel. It also started giving him problems. He got it fixed and immediately traded in for the gas version reg Titan.

My titan is on 34s and hits 0-60 in 5.9 seconds.

It'll get 20 mpg at 70 on the hwy.

5 year old used Armada is a way better purchase than a new one. Fastest depreciating non luxury SUV, the Infinity version does depreciate even faster if it has what you are looking for but surprisingly the Armada top level trim is nicer in many ways than the infinity.

Love my 2021 Armada I picked up used for a song. The thing is a mountain goat. Bigger tires (33s are stock), lift, rack, Trans cooler, and maybe front bumper coming up soon.

Armada and qx80s based on the overseas Patrol are some of the best models nissan makes. They have lighter gearing for the US market, though. They depreciate fast, don't buy a new one if you're going to mod it for off road.

The XD checks a lot of boxes that I would have to custom order with other brands.

Honestly, the XD is the most undermarketed truck out there.

It's also extremly underrated from the factory.

Towing capacity is nearly always limited by braking. It's rated lower than a lot of half ton trucks. Yet it has brake calipers and discs that are larger than most 3/4 ton trucks until the mid/late teen models.

There's an entire subculture time testing them against other gas units on tougher towing routes and with different weights.

My closest neighbor has an 18 sv gasser. He routinely tows his escavator and kubota skid. I've towed the kx71 and thats probably 7k lbs of machine bumper pulled. He tows both.

That's 17k lbs easy. He has airbags, different tires, and I believe he still has his uprev tuned for premium only and secondary cat delete.

That's a 450hp tune with I think 510 ft/lbs.

Uprev is supposed to rerelease it soon. I don't advise doing it until out of warranty

Nissan makes some of the worst vehicles on the road. Good Luck!

Name the one you owned. And if it had a CVT, go take a seat with the rest of the folks who have to wear a life vest to eat soup.

I really want an F150 but to get what I want I will have to order a truck which negates any rebates. I will pay for an XLT what I can get a loaded out XD.

And the XD has a 100K mile warranty, will have to pay for that with a Ford.

Going to test drive an XD tomorrow. Did you have to get a HD registration for your due to the weight?

Mine is not the HD.

Pro4x regular. I really don't need over 10k towing. And I put 30-40k moles a year.

Idk what you're in now, but if you want to appreciate the 5.6

Let it run up to 4-6k rpm. It loves to rev.

youtube of a 5.6

If the factory radio feels dated, I run a phoenix unit with full integration.

I just have a rputine setup on my phone. When it drops onto the woreless charger, it launches a hotspot. The radio links to that and auto opens waze, and split screens with youtube or youtube music.

All ac controls, seat controls, and others are run through the head unit.

That is a nice set up. I drove the a Pro4X XD and like it. Wish the cabin was bigger and it had a larger gas tank but overall I liked it. The 100K warranty is really making me think hard on it.

My friend owns a Nissan dealer and he helps me out on his slow moving inventory.

I went from a Frontier to a Titan.

It was price as a got a Pro 4x midnight edition for a good price.
Now I had Titan's before both an XD Diesel and V8.
Diesel, had alot of issues with the cummins engine.

V8, was a good truck.
Burn alot of gas, but it is also a big V8.
Never really had alot of issues with the Titan V8 and I owned 5 of them.

I paid $48k for mine 4x4 with leather and midnight edition.
It was sitting on the floor for awhile and he needed to pay the floor plan off.
I think he had it listed in the low $50k ballpark to the general public.

How big a baw are you?

You can get a 50 gallon aftermarket if you need to. But not towing you'll be around 850-1000 miles of range on that.

I fill up every 425 or so and have never had the gas light on.

Not that big but it is a lot smaller than Fords or even the new GM cabins. I did see that 50gal tank, if I get an XD I will eventually install that.
