Schneider has a lot of things for which he needs to be held accountable and I am niot sure why there is not a civil trial yet.
Here’s the big difference between Schneider and Harvey (apart from making Harvey look like a Boy Scout): Harvey didn’t have any bosses and answered to no one and of his crimes he did off company property infamously at the Four Seasons. Dan did have bosses, they knew what he was doing (much of this caught directly on camera), and he was doing it on company property. The allegations against Schneider are so egregious that it could take down all of Paramount and Viacom. There’s billions on the line when it comes to him while they could afford to feed Harvey to the wolves.

Which makes me question why there has not been a civil suit with those deep pockets.

The big rumor with her is he got Amanda pregnant and forced her to get an abortion, and that’s what really made her snap.

According to Lana Wood, Natalie Wood did not discuss with her what happened until both were adults and Natalie, after describing being brought into Douglas' suite, told her sister, “And, uh ... he hurt me Lana.”
“It was like an out-of-body experience. I was terrified, I was confused," Lana Wood remembers her saying. Lana, now 75 and around 8 when the alleged incident occurred, remembered her sister and their mother agreeing it would ruin Natalie's career to publicly accuse him.
“Suck it up" was Maria's advice,

Yeah, the fact that the FBI has not arrested Dan Schneider with all that information in that tweet thread I posted in the OP is all you need to know about the FBI. That is not smoke. That is a forest fire that has consumed and killed every person in California.

These cases are tricky because the slime bag producers have all the power and money. Kids are ill-equipped to go up against this and kids with parents complacent to pimp them out regardless of what is happening to them for money makes it that much harder to hold shite bags accountable. This industry continues to function this way because no one is willing to do what is necessary to fix it

I agree, its questionable at best.
Its understandable, because the allegation could likely ruin their career.
If a top heart surgeon would lose their career making that allegation and have to take a 95% pay cut, they'd think long about it too.

Yeah but I still don't understand why once out of the grips of these guys and in adulthood with other avenues for money, success, etc., they still so regularly pull punches.
I'm sure some would say it's because they're patterned for silent or afraid of the industry, and some of that is no doubt true, but I just don't understand how detailed, specific and conclusive accounts against Schneider have never come forward. Most of what I've seen lately that has him in hot water is about generic workplace stuff.

99% of the physicians in this country fell in line.

If you can't report it at the time, don't report it. It comes off as selling out. Trading justice for $$.
Which it is.

I don't know, honestly. I mean a lot of people talk about how hard it is to go through this kind of trauma and that the mind works differently for someone in this situation. Most people would think the way you do and I certainly would too, but there is a very real shock that breaks you when you go through something and most people who haven't been through it don't get it. The 2016 flood was the first time I realized this first hand. If you didn't flood, it really wasn't a big deal, but if your house was destroyed, totally different. Nothing prepares you for going through something and you don't really know how you are going to react.
