Could be him screaming before he’s pulled under. Who knows. Depends on timing of it.
This video is pretty conclusive to me. He throws a big punch. Then swings two more times under water before the shark surfaces (the s curve part we had all previously seen).
He also looks like he’s holding his left arm when he turns to swim away, like it’s injured. He doesn’t really use that arm to swim. Only right is moving. Then he gets pulled under. You can see his body under water at the end. He did not drift out of view.
That’s really awful. I’m sick to my stomach.

Good video. I agree that what many people thought was a shark grabbing his leg was actually him kicking. Whoever posted this did a great job of explaining that.

Watch the newest video on Twitter. It’s much clearer and slow it down. You see him punching in the direction of the shark. Then he turns around and you see him submerged under water before the camera pans away. I don’t see him at all through any net.

The net thing was a fallacy that some guy kept repeating every 4th post. It was from the really grainy footage though and a lot of people didn't agree with him (many did agree with him it was about 50/50).

I would say for Cam that it's pretty badass the way he saw the shark and took multiple swings at it. He didn't curl into a ball or freeze. It's so sad that this mistake cost him his life. I hope he's in a better place and that his family can find some peace eventually.

I agree it's as credible a theory as any other, and the fact that Bahamians in news articles have confirmed they were shark infested waters when asked rather than throw water on the idea confirms they think it's a very legit possibility.

I havent seen anyone here arguing that the shark theory isnt a legit possibility.. what i have seen is a bunch of blowhard know-it-alls claim with absolute certainty, after viewing the same not-great-quality video we’ve all seen- that this kid got attacked by a shark with “no doubt”, “lock it in”, “PERIOD” and other BS, as if it’s a fact .
This is why Americans cant have nice things, too many people think they are right based on what they think they see, with absolutely no room for wavering … I have no idea if a shark got this kid, or if the current got him or somehting else- but i just wish more gotdam people would learn the phrase ‘i dont know’, and would say ‘this is what i think’ instead of ‘this is what I KNOW .’

Respectfully you need to go back a few dozen pages, there was quite a bit of mocking of the idea that there was a shark involved in any way. I don't see everything some folks say they see in terms of an attack, but that looks like a marine animal in the water to me at that spot that was the 3 second spot of the prior video and can be seen a little more clearly in this new longer video. I wouldn't say it's 100% but there's a good chance it is and Cam does turn around and head in the opposite direction right after it appears in front of him.

Agreed. The shark theory is the most plausible one when looking at the video imho.
