Not sure Bobby and Deke could stay sober for more than 4 hours.
But Newell Normand is a real find, because he knows what he is talking about especially on local issues. I heard him on the radio prior to the "hurricane" in September, asking the S&WB guy real pointed questions and the guy kept talking around him and you could just tell that Newell was having enough of the b.s.

Normand seems to be doing well... You can tell he has a hell of an ego, but it seems like he's willing to ask tough questions and call people out.
He also seems to have very easily handled the transition to hawking products on the air. Who knew a sheriff would be such a natural at making commercials?
Remember... Bob Mitchell is an old DJ. His shows can be fun but no one would ever confuse him with a journalist or anything. Scoot is the same way... he's a DJ. He's not a political talk radio host.

Timmy, whats David Blake's deal man? He and Tommy are so awkward to listen to in the mornings...they have absolutely no chemistry whatsoever and Blake just seems extremely uncomfortable on the air when he's not reading the news.

But Scoot has been doing the talk routine now for about 25 years.....actually back in the early 90's he was a hot commodity in the morning talk show world as a local lead in for Rush....before Beck got big he was at WWL and then he got recruited by some San Antonio station.

Spud was good from 1-4. He is better than Scoot. Scoot, to me, was better from 8 to midnight.
