Why is it you suppose NY now has less new infections and deaths than the southern states?

But Dr. Brix wants everyone to start wearing a mask inside of their own homes now. Gotta flatten that curve.

Because it ran absolutely rampant through the NYC metro area, killing the highest number/1,000 in the entire world, peaked, and then rapidly declined. Now everyone has been exposed and they are past the curve. They didn’t flatten the curve, the outlasted it.

Everywhere else flattened it, so it’s going on for MUCH longer.

we could have been past this months ago.

what does "past this" mean?

for example, months ago LC was one of the only regions in LA that should have opened up before the rest of the state, based on positive cases and hospital availability. now, LC is one of the hottest hot spots in the US. our region didn't open up before the others in LA and we haven't engaged in outlier behavior.

we were "past this" here and now it's roaring here, so please describe what you're talking about

if you have a member of your household who is at risk, this is actually a good move to insulate them. it's a lot smarter than wearing masks outside

Exactly!
Pushing 1700 deaths/million!

Texas less than 300/million.

Yet, according to media Abbot is bad. Coumo is brilliant.

It's insane.

I'll give Mr Perfect credit.

He'll engage those he disagrees with. And actually provide reasoning. I might disagree, however he's pretty reasonable. It's not just "orange man bad".

You do realize NY has 11 million residents outside the NYC metro area right?

That is roughly the same as the entire states of MS, AL, and LA combined.

what does that have to do with the rate of deaths?

Anyone who's played Pandemic or Plague, Inc. knows you have to get New Zealand and Greenland early.

What’s sad is you really thought you were making some damning, irrefutable point here, didn’t you?

The curve is flat. If the shite is going to get you it will just like the flu. All of this now is bullshite and pure political. Has ZERO to do with science at this point.

No a point was made about a STATE the reply was about a CITY, do you understand the difference?

Open your eyes man, that is irrefutable.
