Amazon begged to reconsider New York location in letter by politicians, CEOs

Lawmakers and business leaders are begging Amazon to reconsider aborting its plan to build a major hub in New York City.

In an open letter addressed to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, politicians and leaders of companies including Mastercard, JetBlue and Goldman Sachs wrote, in part, "We urge you to reconsider, so that we can move forward together."

The letter was published online Thursday and is scheduled to appear in Friday's edition of The New York Times.

Never should let a bartender woman born in the 90s make any decisions.

More importantly, New Yorkers should reconsider voting for AOC.

Frick em. NYC isn’t the only place in the world, as a shareholder of any publically traded company looking to move there I’d have to ask why. You’ll have to pay more for basically everything so it seems not the wisest move.

After all the research Amazon did for a year, how they landed with NYC without realizing there would be political pressure is mind boggling.

They are basically seeing firsthand why companies are leaving California, New York, Connecticut, etc. to go to Texas. A lot less BS to deal with down south.

That’s what you get when you elect a woman who thinks saving 3 billion at the expense of losing 97 billion is a win.

3 billion that currently doesn't exist.

Would LOVE to see Amazon build in New Jersey.

Their list should have come down to Dallas or Atlanta. Any city outside of those two never should have been considered.
