Dude is guilty as frick, but why does he drive to a gas station and home instead of a hospital?
Closest public place?
He was in pain and might blackout?
He was lost and didn't know where else to go?
Geezus it isn't that hard.

Kinda is. I don’t know a single person who would go charge his phone at a gas station after being shot. At least go there and call 911.

Maybe someone that’s been shot isn’t thinking clearly? The fact that yall are focusing on his phone charge is so stupid

They want to side with the homeowner so badly

I thought those people didn't believe in guns or something? They sure in the hell don't know how to use them.. Shooting at someone going away... when they are clearly not a threat. What a jackass.

You a mind reader or something? Or just plain stupid? Wondering why someone who just got shot didn't drive straight to a hospital vs stopping at a gas station to buy a charger and charge their phone while still shot is valid discussion that in no way picks a side.
You thinking it does really highlights how mentally fragile you are.

Yea. The shooter is a nutter and probably going to jail. But as we have seen so many times before. Wait until the whole story is told.
There are a couple of what the hells from the driver. Door Dashing and no phone charger? A cigarette charger is $9 on Amazon or Walmart. Drove himself home after stopping to charge his phone to call and say he was shot

The homeowner clearly violated every rule of both responsible gun ownership and proper castle doctrine behavior, fired at an unidentified target at a large distance that was retreating, and did it in front of a camera.
If you’re trying to “pick a side”, it says a lot about you.

That has all been acknowledged.

I really like the "He did not have a charger" crowd. Maybe he did and it did not work, or he forgot it at home, it is not that hard to be without a car charger.

He filmed himself shooting a man in the back from probably 60 yards while the guy was driving away.
Well it was an impressive shot

In all seriousness, what the frick was this dude thinking? Also, if I am that driver and someone shoots a warning shot, THEN shoots AT me several times, I am getting the frick out of there a lot faster than that dude was.

The discharge of his weapon into the lawn was already criminal and beyond necessary. Zero sympathy for this moron. Enjoy prison.

Seems like as a Door Dasher, a charger is a must since it is completely reliant upon your cell phone.
But the people bitching about the charger and saying "Why didn't he call 911," that is the reason he went to the gas station. To charge his phone to call 911. Assumedly, the gas station is the first place he came to (certainly a lot faster than a hospital). And the way the facts are laid out, maybe he went to a gas station and told them to call 911. Who knows. It's just a tweet and not actually a well-written article.

But the article says he went to the gas station, and then went home. From there 911 was called and an ambulance came.
quote:
They say he stopped at a gas station in Chester to charge his phone enough to tell them he was shot and then drove home seriously injured and bleeding. The dasher was eventually transported to the hospital by ambulance. His family says he remains hospitalized.

No it says he called 911 from the gas station then went home. While odd, we don’t know his reasoning and he was in shock
Posted on 5/12/25 at 7:29 am to Proximo
I assumed it was from home. What 911 dispatcher says go home and I will have ambulance waiting there?
