And yet the idiot Democrats like the Mayor and AOC want to defund the Police Dept by a Billion dollars.

Some parts of the police force do sure but they would not cut those parts.
You realize the budget has increased by about a billion dollars since 2011. They have to cut a billion over 4 years. Just starting out by making mental health crisis teams and more homeless shelters, riding the police of responding to those types of calls (which most agree is not the job of the police) would save around 400 million dollars.
