I never liked the phrase “make it happen.”
If I could make something happen, I probably wouldn’t be asking your advice about it.

"no worries" has started to bug the shite out of me over the last few weeks.

This has gotten popular. Usually with a ‘sweetheart’, ‘baby’ or ‘playa’ following it.
I hate it too.
It’s not new, but I hate it when people say ‘tell me how you really feel’. I did just emphatically tell you how I feel. Why do you want me to tell you again? It got popular 15 or so years ago and I’ve hated it since day one.
That’s how I really feel. (Before one of you smart-asses ask).

The use of "for days" to indicate an abundance of something.
i.e. How'd you sleep last night? Dude, I had sleep for days.

I frequently use slang to my kids because it horrifies them. Or is "so cringey" in their words. I especially enjoy "that's lit fam." I also say The Google, The FB, The Snapchat, etc. because it annoys them. It's the little things.

That’s good to know. You might actually learn a few things from listening to people older and wiser than yourself.
