Last time I went to Kingfish the undercover police were searching everyone as soon as you parked. They even had a substation set up for all of the people they arrested. It was crazy the amount of people they were hauling off.

Was it Neo’s? Down towards Gardere? Maybe that’s what I’m thinking of.

Didn’t like the bar you were at? Just walk into the next room and it was a whole other theme

Smh at people who don't just link straight to youtube and instead link to the crappy website with the video embedded in it.

Traditions was the gay club but would have DJ's on Thursday nights "college night" with a mixed party crowd. IIRC Aftershocks was across the street.

I met several people from Beaumont and knew some from DeRidder that never missed a Saturday night. Sometimes we would see them in Evangeline for a pre drink.

Are large condemned buildings on commercial property commonplace in Louisiana?

With all that hair gel, a spark would have been another Rhode Island nightclub fire

Iota, Church Point, and Ville Platte would all go under the whore category

Lafayette Late 80s before the frats had to crack down on kegs. It was what one expected college to be like. Get revved up on frat row then head to the strip. Kingfish later until 4 or 5.

Who else did Beat the Clock at night caps on Friday night?

Every friday, I was there like 3 nights a week... lots of pool at the bulldog, the keg was full of undesirables during my time. Amanda Scott's when we got fancy, was a good time. Cant forget about city bar in maurice and night life about 10 miles passed that. Not sure how I survived that 6 months of living there...
