The cautiousness over taking the mRNA vaccines is warranted. This mechanism has never been approved for use before, and the development cycle for these vaccines was much shorter than normal, which means there is no long term data on either the vaccine’s effectiveness or side effects.

Vaccines based on traditional “flu” technology are only a few months behind. I’ll wait for those.

If true, this is a game changer from a logistical standpoint.

Was talking to my dad last night and he said FedEx had to get special permission from the FAA to be able to keep and ship so much dry ice on the planes to be able to safely ship and keep it proper temp in transit .

It’s not the first time it’s been tried idiot. It’s the first time it’s proven effective

from the article

"Despite the unprecedented speed, mRNA vaccines are clinically unproven. No commercially available vaccines use the platform and, until now, it hasn’t been tested in large-scale human trials."

yes. this is the first time.

idiot.

Why do you get flu shots?

It sucks being sick, even if it doesn’t kill you.

From a US perspective, I don't see the issue with Pfizer's vaccine needing -80C. ULT freezers are abundant here and dry ice is stupid easy to make and dry ice is -78.5C.

From a global perspective its an issue because I'm sure there aren't an abundance of -80 freezers in the Congo.

Biden claims The Office of the President Elect and we get two vaccines. He said he had a plan. He delivered.

What’s sad is in today’s world I’m not sure if you’re trolling or not. It’s quite possible you may believe this.
