How will a nursing home do this? Lol. Our facility can’t.

Vaccine will likely be a clinic not administered by staff. Solution would be brought in with dry ice probably.

I’m hoping we don’t expend available vaccine inventory on aged population first. Would do a lot more good administered to staff willing to accept. I’ll be first volunteer in line, so ready this shite to be over.

I’m willing to take the vaccine, but I think I’d rather wait it out for a bit and see how it goes before I take it.

How long is enough time? This trial included 30k people with no AEs. I hear people make the same statement as you, but no explanation of what waiting it out means. The growing anti-vaxxer movement is going to keep this thing around longer and longer.

For what it’s worth, I had a conversation with my internal medicine doctors about 5 weeks ago and he said the same thing. The vaccine announcement had not been made yet, but he mentioned how well the data points looked from both moderna and pfizer studies and that one of the Baton Rouge clinic doctors was part of the study himself and is doing well and feels the vaccine data is very good and safe to take.

Well great, I have one single share of Moderna. Gonna be hard to get rich off that but we’ll see.

This is the shot I got. They had an initial and a booster. The booster is rough—I felt like I had the flu for about 24 hours.

I know people that were part of the Moderna trial in PHX. They all said they had a headache and mild fever the night they got it but woke up feeling totally fine. Cant remember if they said it was from the first or second shot.

That’s how they knew they got the vaccine and not the placebo.

My medical director (an infectious disease specialist) recently did a virtual conference with numerous other infectious disease specialists around the world. She said obviously the conference centered on COVID and a large chunk of the vaccines and the research and data from the studies so far. She said she would absolutely go and get the vaccine when available, the research and data around them are that promising.

I’ll take it tomorrow if it can help one things return to normal for everyone else. I’m not scared of Covid at all but I’m getting really anxious about the effect Covid is having on the world.

I have no kids and if an arm rots off, so be it. How would I sign up for a test?

YOu took it? Not nervous about what could happen? And no I am not an anti vaxxer just a cautious "that's too new of a vaccine" vaxxer.

I went through the trials with this one. First shot I felt nothing after so assumed I got the placebo. A month later got the second one and that night I got chills and it lasted all night. Had a fever and felt like shite the next day. Was good after that.

How did you get signed up for this? I see ads on FB for Covid Vaccine testing but I never click them.

Where would this vaccine rank on the list of human medical achievement? Given the speed of development and distribution.

It was a stage 3 study so I wasn’t too nervous. They basically already knew the side effects, they’re mostly proving how long it lasts now.

Meridian is the name of the company hosting the study for Moderna.

95% effective in late stage trials. Need to get these shipped out with the quickness!

why are ppl so quick to take this thing?

no wariness whatsoever?

you know these companies cannot be sued if there are any "complications" with their vaccines, right?
