Not indicting officers in Sterling case? Isn’t there supposed to be a cold front coming through? Good timing for that I would guess.
Shite, I forgot that was still ongoing

My guess isn’t the return of project Exile. All dope possession cases that include possession of a firearm are automatically referred to USA for federal prosecution. It worked well in the 90s. This time, however, they need to have something in place to deal with the vacuum that’s created when you get these violators off of the streets. Need to make sure the next generation doesn’t follow down the same path/get into the cycle.

I knew Brandon from when I was in my early 20’s. He’s an all around great guy, couldn’t say anything bad about the guy unless I lied. Didn’t really hang out with him a woile lot because I was usually up to no good and he knew it.

What a waste of time. Thanks for spending a ton of money and time on some drugs. Give me a break.

New Baton Rouge U.S. Attorney Brandon Fremin announced Tuesday that a lengthy federal investigation has led to indictments charging dozens of people with multiple drug and firearm offenses.
According to a news release, the investigation focused on an “extensive" drug-trafficking network based in Baton Rouge. The indictments charge 41 people with more than 80 counts of narcotics and firearms-related offenses.

Legalized weed seems like a cool Tuesday morning announcement
"The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this."-Albert Einstein, My First Impression of the USA (1921).

Would like to know more. How lengthy? What drug and firearm charges?
