Mandeville and Covington have really gone down hill. It amazes me how all the trash destroyed it in such a short period of time.

How does Gretna get the same commute ranking as Belle Chase, Marrero, and River Ridge?

A fighting chance? It shits all over the northshore.

Because it isn't an hour away from New Orleans.

Will Old Metairie hold its real estate value for a long time? Seems like they're very pricey compared to living uptown.

River Ridge is horrible. It is convenient to absolutely nothing.

I think it will. Unlike uptown, you don't have to be mindful of what block you're own regarding your safety. Trash will not be able to get in because it costs too much here so the only way they can get in is if they inherit, and most people here don't have trash relatives. There's no section 8 garbage to worry about. We're close to everything, but don't have to deal with any of the bad parts of NOLA. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Having said all that, I love parts of uptown and would totally live there if I had OT money. But I don't

Only suburbs I would live in would be Mandeville/Covington or OLD Metairie (not Metry). That list is hilarious.

That's what keeps the riff raff out. And it's convenient to kim ahns, oak oven and red wagon which is good enough for me.

If inconvenience keeps the riff raff out then how did Kenner and the West Bank come to be so unclassy

What the hell are you talking about? People don't have to live in Old Metairie to screw it up. There are sketchy areas less than 2 miles from the Metairie Rd and Bonnabel intersection on Airline Hwy found in that area around Lurline Dr. Plus, on W.Napoleon there are all those apts. You think there's a wall up or moat around Old Metairie? You think trouble makers don't have vehicles to drive the mile and a half to Old Metairie?

Kenner is not inconvenient, you have I-10 exits.

Two miles is pretty far away when you are talking an urban area.
