Not surprised, but honestly really sad that we've come to this. I remember eating Halloween candy like it was nothing. Now we have to make sure its not laced with fentanyl.

Why are all of these dealers giving away drugs for free? Do they attach their card to the candy so people will know where to go if they want to buy some?

The candy thing is always so stupid, it happened once and it was a dad killing his own kids with pixie sticks he made for them. Karens love to keep telling people to check candy though.

Don’t you dare insult a national treasure like Turd Ferguson.

Don’t. You. Dare.

Tonight is the safest night to go out in even the worst neighborhoods in NO. Dress up like a Chucky doll or maybe wear a Scream mask and people will clear the sidewalks in front of you. Bad example since most people will be walking in the street but you get the point.

What drug dealer wants to hand out their product for free?

And to children, who are not a great customer base considering they don’t have the money to buy the drugs.

This is a ploy by parents to go through their kids candy and take the good stuff for themselves.

Keep that to yourself man!

It's like free samples to expand their customer base. Get the kiddies hooked.

So how will the kids know who to buy from? What if someone gives away a bunch of product and these kids go buy from another dealer?

Seriously, you are thinking of crack. And when they would give someone a rock, that person knew that the person who gave it to them is where they buy it from.

I mean, I guess it never hurts to check kids candy, I just can't believe the news was actually reporting this shite.

So it’s ok to ingest but not digest?

We did a Google keyword search of “Halloween candy dangers 2022” and found this article, which quotes University of Delaware professor Joel Best, probably the nation’s top expert on Halloween candy rumors — his data dates back to 1958.

And what he says might surprise you: “I cannot find a single case of a child killed or seriously injured by a contaminated treat picked up in the course of trick-or-treating.” Best does cite one exception. A father in 1974 laced his children’s candy with cyanide, killing one, in an effort to collect life insurance. He was arrested.
