My wife just finished nursing school and had to have her hair done certain ways for clinicals as well, amazingly she was able to just follow the rules.
My wife (no pics) is in nursing school and they have strict dress and appearance standards. This girl is a retard.

Hair ALWAYS had to be pulled back/up. No perfume, or very fragrant lotions. Shoes could only be white leather.
My wife has to wear all black shoes. No fingernail polish. Hair pulled back/up.

We don't have to like the rules, just have to follow them.

here's a reason there's rules on hair. Nothing to do with black or white hair. It's called SAFETY first for the patients. Hope she never becomes a nurse.

Long hair can be a problem in many areas. There was a hippie that bought a small farm down the road from my place. A city hippie. Thought he knew it all. Watched youtube videos about farming. He had hair that was longer than his shoulders. Until he was checking something and his long arse hair got caught in the pto shaft. It would his head up in the knuckle and broke his neck. That was a gruesome scene.

Sometime the rule is made just to see if you can follow it. Nursing school was full of stupid rules you had to follow just to see if you can follow rules.
Hospitals rules have relaxed a good bit over the years d/t the cultural issues up to and including tattoos/full sleeves, etc. But if you get a rep of not ever following the rules or always complaining and bucking the rules, where does she think she’s going to actually get a job?

Is your wife a wizard? Kryptonian? How did she come by these powers?

I had cooks who would protest the Health Department's head cover laws by wearing their hats inside out or sideways or backwards. I gave them your two choices.

She should cut those pubes on her head and comply.

There's other women able to grow long beautiful hair that abide by the policy.

Lots of stupid rules in all professional schools. If she had opposed one of those I’d agree with her.
This rule has a very simple and profound reason. Your hair has to fit under hair protection. Hair is nasty and can cause some interesting health-care associated infections.
Follow the rules or go home.

I remember how much my mind was blown when an old friend told me it's common to only wash your hair once or twice a month.

Yeah. Crazy.

I'd really like to know what her GPA was. There is probably more to this story than the colored person is telling us
