I didn't see any proof of this in that article. Just one quote from the one woman.

The girls only thing they obviously have proof of and he even admits as much, which I think is bullshite to be a crime.

Now, if he traded rent for sexual favors, that is fricked up. But I gotta think he'd be in more trouble if they had any real evidence of that as well.

I remember this thread from 2018. It stood out because I didn't realize his brother was the insane guy from the Aerosmith video. Dude went from banging Angelina Jolie to being charged for rape then trying to hire a hit man from jail to kill the judge and his lawyer.

WHAT A DUMBASS

He got convicted of a sexual crime, but only got a suspended sentence then fricked it all up...

quote:

His 10-year prison sentence was suspended if he successfully completed five years of probation. However in June 2014, Flemings-Davillier revoked the probation when he violated the terms of his probation by soliciting women on Facebook and failing to register some of his phones with the sexual offender registry, documents said. He was then ordered to serve the full sentence.

But it should be. It's his time, money and risk in play here. As the owner of the property, he should be able to handpick his tenants. If he passes up the chance to rent to a bunch of young dudes because he is afraid they will destroy his property, it should be his right to protect his investment. If those dudes destroy the place, is Big Brother going to pay to repair it?

He would be able to hand-pick his tenants if he didn’t own so many.

The Fair Housing Act doesn’t apply to you until you own more than three properties. See below.

quote:

Single-family homes rented without the use of a real estate agent or advertising are exempt from the federal Fair Housing Act as long as the private landlord/owner doesn't own more than three homes at the time.

Apartments of four units or less are also exempt if the owner lives in one of the units.

it was a total set-up, but partially self-inflicted.
the story goes that jerry "possibly, maybe, kinda" might have hit up one or more of his tenants for a date/etc, and MAY have let it slip that he prefers renting to college aged girls.

that person/persons contacted one of the housing advocacy warriors, who then sent mystery shoppers (black/not skinny) to inquire about jerry's properties, who were turned down in favor of the aforementioned skinny white girls

That would be zero, but hey it's a good narrative for the story

I understand this is not legal... but I dont agree with it. It is his property, he should be able to do as he wishes. If a renter decides to pay with sex, that should be between the owner and renter...

As someone who owns rental property, yes. Not across the board obviously but certainly at a higher rate than thin people.

Big people tend to be sloppier. Makes sense since they don't take care of their bodies why would they take care of their property? They also tend to be lazier and don't clean up as much because it takes more effort to them because they're carrying around extra weight. They also tend to lean on things more because they're tired all the time from the extra weight so they break off towel bars, toilet paper holders, Etc. Being heavier also puts more weight on everything in the house. A skinny person can jump up on the countertops and take a seat but a heavy person would be more likely to crack them. And the toilet seats will never be tight which means they're going to constantly shear off the plastic bolts holding them on. That's just 2 quick examples off the top of my head.

Unless you've owned or managed rental property the average person can't quite grasp the magnitude of damage a person can do to a home. Also, people are dumb. Like, really fricking dumb. I've been called into my property for everything from a "broken dishwasher", the result of plastic cups stuffed with candy wrappers blocking up the drain to the "closet light is broken", the bulb was out.

map of this guy's properties?

for research purposes

The assessor's office only lists about 10 or so properties under his name. Those properties are all concentrated around the university area, more or less. He probably holds the other properties in the name of one or more LLCs. If I had to guess, those are likely in and around the university area as well.

You are correct about the stupid calls. Disconnected the lines to the washing machine before a freeze. Next day get a phone call from the guy who was renting. Said he reconnected the hoses, but the washer was messed up. Said the hot water was coming out the cold setting. Told him he connected the lines backwards. Silence on phone, then ooohhhh, yeah, that might be the problem. Stupidest person I have ever met.

Is it really though? Why is that fricked up?

I wish I could trade sex for goods and services. Imagine going to the grocery for stuff, then after getting the total:

Your total: $68.76

You gonna pay by cash, check, card, or hitting the semi attractive, but also semichubby cashier from the back?

Decisions, decisions
