Intercontinental is about 2 or 3 blocks from the museum

Yeah, it's pretty close to the museum. I think that Hilton Garden Inn by the convention center is about the closest big hotel. There's a Hampton Inn right there too.

Ace Hotel
Ace Hotel is pretty new and is very walkable to WWII museum. Rooftop pool is awesome and has pair of bars downstairs that are pretty cool.
Depends on what you're looking for, but this is the best hotel in proximity, imo

Do you have any brand loyalty?

Darth just be aware it's probably going to be packed at the museum. It's spring break for a lot of folks and it's been super busy down there

Old No. 77 on Tchop. It's in the CBD but right around everything. Cool, modern hotel.

Renaissance Arts Hotel in the warehouse district. It is like 4-5 blocks from the WW2 museum.

Darth and that place would not get along. He would come back and be bitching for three weeks that he had to stay at a modern hipster place.

Won't bother me a bit. All we're going to do at the hotel is sleep and get freshened up Friday and Saturday night. And we won't even arrive until probably about 9 or 10 on Friday night.

Jesus. A room is like $150/night at the Ritz. You got hosed.
In laws set up the trip as a gift. We were in the Ritz Carlton Suite. Had a pool table, a huge terrace, kitchen, living area, and a butlers kitchen. Like I said, I didn't pay for it. It was a bit overkill for the 4 of us, but I wasn't going to tell them no.
Edit: even in the suite wifi is $15 a day extra. That was my only problem.
