Yup........ always was a shithole.... now it’s even worse... it’s pretty sad. I used to love to go to New Orleans when I first moved down here in 1979. But now?????? You could not even pay me enough to even go there for a day.

No it wasn’t....... not for me anyway. I just went to Saints games and the would go down there and stay at the Marriott on Canal and just stroll to Bourbon street with zero worries. Today that’s hard to do.

I’d imagine it is hard to do for someone that has to carry a shite bag around his waist

It’s not hard for normal people.

Yeah you don’t get out of OPP on a weekend in 2 hours

Paid my fines within an hour of getting booked and was released 18 hours later. OPP was making sure they got their money.

If true, I’m surprised it’s not mentioned in the article. DWI’s are compoundable offenses so usually you’re booked according, depending on the timeline of his prior DWI(s).

I don’t know what types of programs he may have gone through, etc.... but you can pull his old arrest. Was also out of state (Florida) and like 10 or so years ago which may be a factor. I don’t know DUI law inside and out as it’s not a concern to me.

A mayor that doesn’t pay her taxes

A mayor who’s husband got busted bringing a joint to a prisoner in the courthouse

A city councilman that got his second DUI, driving a city owned vehicle

A mayor that got caught using a city credit card for personal expenses

Unless he was preaching against or passing laws against drunk driving, or if this was his 22nd DWI, who gives a Frick? It’s New Orleans

How about because he was driving a city vehicle that he totaled?

Would that be enough reason?

Add another councilman that doesn't pay his taxes as well.

I've made it out in 8 before. Another time was 72.

They are supposed to make sure you are sober before releasing you and 8-10 hours is a minimum for regular folk.
