I believe the movie was aimed at racial hypocrisy on both sides
Then they should come up with a better trailer and title to reflect that
Also, I do love some good stereotypes and think people that find stereotypes racist are ridiculous and just looking to be offended.

It's got 3k likes and 61k dislikes, wonder if they'll get the hint.

It looks like it's making fun of the snowflakes from the trailer.

It was discussed on here for a few weeks

This is the most blatant form of racism you can find on TV... jesus christ
Oh wait. I forgot it's not racist if a black person says it. Only of its a white, mexican, etc.

It just makes you think it's aimed to attack white people

We just want to be able to make a movie called Dear Black People and make fun of them
Is that too much to ask?

Sort of like how you ran to the OT over a movie title and didn't even bother looking more into it?

Stay in cool weather so you don't melt this spring snowflake

was very well written and put together
Said no one about anything that was on MTV. Ever.
The channel's been worthless for almost 25 years, sadly.

It wasn't even on MTV, monkey brain. You're just reacting to what you hastily read on here instead of actually finding some real facts about it. It was an indie movie released to theaters.

So many delicate little snowflakes getting offended on here

From Baloo's review on the M/TV board it seems kindof like a black PCU almost. Horrible title though and the trailer didn't alleviate any concerns people might have based on the title. when the hell did you last see someone dress in true blackface for halloween?

And they talk about white privilege...
What about black privilege to make a racist as frick show title and have nobody call you on it and for it to not even be considered racist?
What if there were a show called Dear Black People? All the actors would be considered Klansmen.

It was/is. And it was a pretty good flick. But don't let that get in the way of a good snowflake melt
