That sounds like the fault of the local vendor.

I just passed over at Loyola on I 10 heading west and looked down Loyola Avenue towards the airport and saw an ambulance with its lights and sirens on heading towards the airport.

It’s happening

OT doesn’t want to hear this.
He posted that at 5:34 AM, meaning he went through the airport around 4:30-5am

Had a friend fly out this morning said it was a breeze. Perfect.

Had a friend fly IN last night and said it looked awesome but was a disaster trying to get to his car at the old parking structure that he had left there. Gave up on the shuttle and took a Lyft.

I'm sure that will get worked out.

Wow. That is really nice. Tells you how much parking is available in the lots, easy to check flights and departures. Very nice website.

The parking in the old garage looks like the deal. Cheaper than parknfly and us park and you can check your bags there.

I am here now... flying out this morning. Security was a breeze with pre-check and we were sitting at breakfast within 15 minutes of pulling up to the new terminal.

I am probably jinxing this for the rest of the folks here but this might not be the total disaster I was anticipating.

Seems it will depend a lot on shuttles/traffic efficiency.

How are they shuttling you from the old garage to the new terminal? How much does the shuttle cost and what route do they take?

If there's going to be a service level issue, I think this is where you will see it.

Everything about the economy garage has been outsourced. New South Parking is handling the garage and the shuttles, and Bags is handling the baggage check-in.

The airport is going to have to really stay on top of their contractor to make sure that there are enough shuttles at fast-enough times.

Did they buy all new shuttle busses?

They should have built a private road within the airport just for shuttles IMO

That would make me very nervous.

I think I’d rather just park at US Park or Park n Fly. Or just park myself at the new garage.
