I can count on both hands the number of times I wished I still had my truck in the last year. Almost all of them involved doing some sort of yard work.

That's what a friend of mine thought until I had use my 2003 Tacoma to pull his F-150 out of the mud last winter.

They have some transmission issues but it’s the buzzy turbo engine and cheap feeling interior combined with a $18,000 price hike over my 5 year old Toyota that really annoys me.
Feels like they built the new ones to satisfy Uncle Sam’s requirements and not mine.

I have an old neighbor with one. Single cab, half-ton. I would guess it is 17-18 years old with 50-ish thousand on it. He mows twice a week so the mower may have more miles than the truck.

Better off with a 2.7 F150.

My son had one the last year of the old body style. He didn’t have any real problems - recall for welding debris in the axle was about the only real issue.
It shifted all the damn time though. There wasn’t a gear it was happy in when on the highway.

Saw one the other day at dealership with a wheel package and it looked awesome ($58600)
That said, Toyota has reset the reputation clock with the new I-Force engines. New Tundras are deep in the quality doghouse right now as well.
All that lineage in the trash. Toyota trucks are now at 0 days with no accidents.
