Was a boondoggle from conception but it did clear up the Red. If it had only happened 50 years ago fewer of the Central patients would have drowned jumping off the OKA.

Avant Organics to open a site in the Alexandria area.
When I saw Organic in the name, I thought it was going to be about a new weed farm.

Lol there’s nothing redeeming about nola. If it wasn’t for the Saints that ghetto would have long ago sank in to the swamp. Gfy

Its quite clear you have no knowledge base in order to make comments on what a shitty town is
NOLA hasnt even been a town in over a year. Its just a massive work release facility at this point

Nah. You could live in Ball if you want.
Just a little town. Grew up there.
If by grew up you mean paid many speeding ticket fines then I too grew up in Ball
As for the Nola Alex debate, the two aren't even comparable, Alex is a big version of all of the little towns surrounding with basically the same culture, and many times alot of go between with the same people. New Orleans is a 'major city'. But I do find it funny when people from Nola stick their nose up at small town La, most people from small town La would be the first to pull you out of a ditch or lend assistance if you needed.

Yep, don't leave or the ROM bunch out. If you're from this area you know who ROM refers to.

Roy O Martin, dummy

The river is technically navigable but not big enough to carry the volume of traffic that would make heavy industry feasible. Red River navigation was a pipe dream of J. Bennett Johnston. Since he was Chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, he got what he wanted, but it has never paid for
Speaking of which, there were two locomotives at Nasa that transported the Shuttle from the assembly building to the launch pad. When the program ended, one went to a museum. The other is currently used to move stuff around the port of Natchitoches.

That's a new one for me. Never knew Roy O Martin had that kind of pull. The Pentecostals and Calvary bunch, I do understand.

Louisiana College gets a ton of their largess. Martins are almost like Jews but protestant jews
Grew up next door to one of them and he was a fine fella and a wee bite on the frugal side.
He bought a mercedes one year and only drove it a week before returning it for another oldsmobile.

The closing of EAFB was crippling. This more than anything art Elick back years. What was done to turn it into a senior living community was some great work by some good people
