Why would third person pronouns ever be relevant or useful in a one-on-one interview?
If someone refers to themselves in the third person, you can end the interview on the spot and not hire them.

I mean i agree that they did this to pander but with everything else going on in this commercial I find it odd that you pointed this out.
I thought he was just making a joke. He was making a joke right? Right?

Hire her, that way you can pay her less.

If I am interviewing somebody and they have hand tattoos I will finish the interview…..but they aren’t getting the job.

So this guy requires to be referred to in the plural form always? Clearly, they are one of the most conceited people in the planet making you conform to their demands

We should all just start wearing clown makeup grease paint and wigs and demanding people call us by the name and pronouns skwarm skwim skwummly. That’s literally not any more ridiculous than that commercial
This would be a great satire skit.
Open up with a bunch shots of people looking in mirrors putting on their clown makeup and wigs, but dressed in their normal, everyday work clothes.
Business suits, wait staff attire, chef clothes, retail shirts, etc.
Then everyone is walking to work and instead of making small talk there are these convoluted conversations about how to address things and pronoun asking and correction and indignation. And their pronouns are all made up nonsense words.
They can’t even get past the needless minutia so the actual topic never even gets addressed,
Then shots of them going about their day, but stuff keeps happening to mess up their clown stuff,
Noses falling off into a customers food, globs of melting greasepaint falling into coffee, wigs getting caught in things and ripped off, paint smearing on clothes, etc.
Then scenes of them getting agitated and bent out of shape, yelling at people who aren’t going out of their way to address them specifically as clowns. Just flipping out. And the normal people are just looking at each other like “wtf?”
And each scene ends with the clowns looking out of windows and seeing normal people just being effortlessly normal. Talking, laughing, playing…uncomplicated and natural.
Finally you get to the end of their day and they are disheveled, exhausted, tear tracks smearing their makeup…
On their mirror and walls, written in makeup by finger, the words, over and over “I’m a clown, I’m a clown, I’m a clown.”
and then they wipe it all off to show who they really are…just normal people. Normal people putting in all this effort to deny reality. They aren’t fooling anyone, they aren’t even really fooling themselves.
Then, the text on a black screen at the end.
“Clowns belong at the circus.
Time to leave clown world behind”
“

Make your pronouns so that when anyone talks to you in the office they have to speak ebonics.

I wonder if Biden's Infrastructure Plan has earmarks for They & Them bathroom buildouts, or do we just roll status quo and let the They & Thems whip out the pickle in the girl's urinal?

When I see this type of stuff, you have to just wonder if the owner/CEO of a company like this is LGBTQ. Because like is it worth it in the advertisement business to reach out to less than 5% of the population.

A couple of things
- Probably not, which is scary. And no, I don't think there is a profit incentive.
- Rather, the incentive is probably a mix of cultural blackmail (be a shame if something happened to your business) and actual wokeness taking hold on people with influence/decision-making ability
- People need to stop accepting the old narrative that businesses only act in their best financial interest and that profit is at root the only motivating factor. Wholesale acceptance of that now-antiquated idea is really hampering the ability for people to understand what's going on around them. You can't give universities over to the crazies for two decades and then not expect to have indoctrinated people in corporate boardrooms. While the motives were very likely profit (or blackmail) oriented originally, you can't spend a decade indoctrinating employees with this shite and not have some of them become true believers.

Yeah I know very little about the business world, thanks. It is a crazy world we live in.

Companies won't pay for postings if they don't show their woke.
Companies have diversity officers for this type of shiat. We have to submit product copy to big retail for approval from diversity and inclusion team. Yep. You better believe they have their hands in everything now. Remove MyPillow. Buy GayPillow. Stop selling ammo. Start selling anal leakage pads. Need to show more dark tone people (they won't say dark skin). No white people, it's too intimidating.
They try to force us to increase our assortment for diversity products, even when there is evidence they don't sell. Uh, black folks will buy this. It doesn't have to show a black guy on it and say "endorsed by George Floyd" to make it work.

Why would the pronouns someone else uses to refer to you when you’re not around be of any concern at all to you?
Think about how astoundingly egotistical and ridiculous it is to demand that 1. Someone upfront ask you how you want to be referred to when you’re not around and 2. if someone says something you don’t like behind your back they should go to prison.
Seriously. Please take a moment to ponder the narcissistic psychotic premise behind that.

Where is the bathroom for clowns!!!!!
I can’t go to the bathroom unless there is a pail of water dangling above the door and a comically broken flush valve that sprays me when I use it.
All automatic hand dryers should shoot either dust or feathers at me.
This is my truth, bigot.
