I really hope in my lifetime that some being from another planet comes to us. Lets be honest, that would be so fricking awesome.

Isiah 40:26
Lift up your eyes on high And see who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing

Isiah 45:12
I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded

Not only is space vast, but so is time. We have been looking into space for less than 100 years. That’s nothing compared to the age of the universe. What if the nearest life form was eliminated 101 years ago by a collision or loss of their sun. The chances are slim of finding the right place at the right moment in time.

Yeah but faster than light travel is impossible so we’re alone whether there are any aliens or not.

I doubt anyone actually thinks we're alone in the universe other than weirdos and freaks.
But there might be things out there that someday we may wish didn't exist.

No way we are alone in universe, but how bad would it suck if religion were real and every galaxy has just one planet of life and we are all in the same image. Yet surrounded by so much vastness we will never be able to know.

The universe is only 2,000 years old. Why, just this morning the preacher said so! (insert any old time country road baptist church that has 50 members)

That picture is the work of devil worshipers faked secularism

Geez, Tyrone, get your shite together.
Certainly you can estimate better than a range of a nearly a couple trillion.

Meteorologists wished they are given that much latitude in their forecasts.

Just mind boggling. Can't wait to see pics from the new telescope they're building.
