Why can’t they make a compact truck?
The Tacoma, Colorado, and Ranger are all the size of 1990s full sized trucks.

I would love a compact, 4 cylinder diesel. I don't get why we can't have one here.

Maybe they're lying, but Ford already stated that they aren't gonna do a raptor version of the ranger

My stepdad had a 1987 Mazda b2200 he put 200k miles on.
That thing was indestructible
I always wanted a late 70s ford courier truck

Sticker for base CrewCab is $26.5k.
I created the most expensive one I could on Ford’s site and got it to $48.7k. That includes $1k destination fee, bed liner, crew cab FX4 Lariat, block heater, most expensive rims, $1.7k auto tonneau cover, etc.
$50k is false news unless they take the most expensive possible and add other dealer options, but I’m not sure what is left to add besides fuzzy dice.

Taxes, registration, extended warranty, % finance charge, every little fee they can think of.

I just stopped and looked at one. Why would anyone spend near $50k for a 4 cylinder turbo truck? It was sharp tho
I saw this post earlier so I looked up local Ford dealership inventory. One on the lot, $43,000 and change. Ford can eat a bowl of dicks.

I don't know. I'll be 55 in a few weeks and have been wrangling cars since I was seventeen. So quite a few.
Nice. I wasn't trying to question your claim, but without knowing how many vehicles you've owned, it's hard to tell how much stock one should put into your claim.

You can have all that plastic for the low price of $50k? What a steal.

Nobody buys base lol. All over on Auto trader a 4x4 crew cab is 46+. And there were a few over 50.
I just looked again and I notice some dealers are selling above the msrp

They’ve lost their fricking minds.
I use to have a Ford Ranger. 1989 with extended cab, 5 speed manual trans. Most fancy extra it had was A/C and a cassette player. Loved that truck.

No self respecting Baw would ever go smaller than an F-250.

Truck pricing is stupid now. If you don’t get 10k off sticker price you’re getting fricked.

Based on this picture... any lower I would swear they were trying to rerelease the Ranchero or El Camino.
