Elon became a citizen in 2002, which means he has actually studied the United State Constitution. It is even likely he is well versed in those pesky amendments. The best part is he can afford a legal team to protect those rights.

No of course I don’t think that. If Musk moved operations to Texas, the high skilled engineers would of course move to Texas. But in a thread the other day someone was arguing otherwise, and that poster was a self proclaimed Silicon Valley insider.

An non elected COUNTY official is wielding this power !
Someone should step in shut this person down, and politely say, "Mr. Musk, you may proceed."

Why does this board hate Elon? This is news to me.

As a whole, it definitely does, and the answer is misinformation or lack of understanding for a lot of posters IMO.

I'm certainly not saying there's literally no reasons at all to dislike him, but like I said, when you see the reasons most posters give, it's definitely one of the 2 reasons I mentioned for the majority.

I like the guy. The hate is due to the heavy subsidies (although many companies get subsidies)
Pretty sure that ALL companies making EVs will get the exact same tax credits Tesla did.

Not sure I've ever seen anyone bash Nissan or Chevy for the same exact tax credits Tesla gets. And now that more and more and eventually every major American car company will introduce EVs and have access to these same tax credits, but these same folks won't really ever post their hate of those companies with the same fervor they did with Tesla.

Elon Musk could save billions in taxes if Tesla moves its headquarters to Nevada or Texas.

Just saying.

Right, I agree. Although in fairness, GM was slammed pretty hard for the bailout money by a lot of the same folk who hate on Tesla.
