In England, cases doubled in a week. That's pretty impressive. Apparently, many of our current Covid tests don't test for multiple genes so it's probable that they won't detect the mutated virus.

You can see the writing on the wall. Covid 19 will mutate into Covid 21 and the lockdowns and government overreach will last indefinitely.

I prefer the original Covid. Before it got played out. Guess that makes me a hipster.

Link/story is from October. What’s it like now, two months later?

Also...how did these double cases relate to testing effort?

Predictable. Seeing all kinds of articles like this: New supercovid highlights the need for global tracking and vaccination programs.

Be afraid. Max pressure to take the shot, max propaganda and pain to gather more power and remove as many liberties as possible.

I would think the only people still interested in Covid are the people who have jobs and investments that rely on the stock market. If you have neither, then I get it, you opted out.

We are of the opinion that there is nothing in this British type that is more contagious than what we saw this summer. If this variant is somewhat more contagious then it is very small, "says Kári Stefánsson, director of Icelandic Genetics.

Kári therefore sees no reason to take similar action as other countries have done today and he suspects that the British government and the World Health Organization are using this virus variant to encourage people and other countries to be careful at Christmas.

Not uncommon for viruses to mutate.

Officials say the new covid spreads more easily but is not more deadly.

The vaccine should be effective for it.
