We have the V8 gas model, and we love it.

Diesel was on constraint when we tried to order it. I hear great things about that engine.

They just started making the 3/4 ton model with the 8 lug wheels and 6.6L engine. Fleet only, predominantly at the request of Secret Service and the mining industry.

But you could probably pick one up used eventually.

We had them growing up and my wife drives a 2017 Suburban. It’s a based out model though, so not nearly as pricey as the new, loaded out ones. I believe they’re the best vehicles ever made. Can haul, tow, carry kids and are relatively cheap and easy to maintain.

We have had the 22 z71 suburban with the 5.3 for a year now. No issues, drives great, we like it.

Best looking SUV on the market right now. Right along with the AT4 Yukon XL.

My ex had a 2001 she’d still be driving if a kid on the way to prom hadn’t wiped it out. Well over 200K miles. My 2003 Escalade with the 5.3 is at nearly 250K miles and hauls a pretty heavy boat and my side by side without a hitch. Absolutely love it, and will drive it until it drops.

That generation is probably the best generation of suv/truck ever made by GM. They run forever and are cheap to maintain.

2002 Tahoe here with 320k+ miles.

If you have a family they are a great roadtrip car, especially if you're outdoors a lot. Enjoy.

Well they aren’t built as good as a starter home which is almost what a new one would cost.

I had a 2004 F-150 that I gave to my son and bought the Escalade used with about 60K miles on it. The quality between the 2 wasn’t even close. GM 5.3>>>>>Ford 5.4

I think I've talked my way into the 2023 Z71 with the 5.3L.

This is far far far more than I wanted to spend and at $72,000, this is probably pushing it.

I am being offered what I paid for my truck 3+ years ago so that makes it easier sell in my mind.

I just think this thing could help me haul both my kids and be very very versatile for our family.

This one will be black with black interior.

My 22 burb is paid for

We happened to buy a 21 Tahoe right before covid really jacked prices. We paid 55k for it.

Less than a year later we traded it even for the z71 suburban. 68k.

We took advantage of covid hardcore. Sold our rental house we purchased a few years earlier for a 125k profit. Then made 200k off our main house and bought 20 acres. Covid rocked for me

When you buy one, start saving for a new transmission if you plan to keep it past 100k miles. You may get lucky and nkt have replace it, but good chance you will.
