That’s fine blame whoever you want. But unless you are an active and immediate threat to someone else you don’t deserve to have your door kicked down in the middle of the night.
It’s not safe for the cops and it’s not safe for the suspect. I would shoot if my door was being kicked in by somebody in the middle of the night. I would assume that most of the people on this board would react the same way.
A typo on the address line is all that’s keeping it from happening to you.
No knock warrants have no place in a free society.
I don’t give a shite what crime the suspect is accused of.

this keeps getting thrown around very loosely. It was a no knock warrant, but they didn't follow that path. Even CNN is reporting the officer testimony that they knocked on the door. so stop spouting off with bs when you havent even spent 5 seconds researching the facts.

Her ex was a true pos who stayed in and out of jail. Over the past 7 years, she switched between boyfriends going from the thug ex, to the good guy with a clean record. All she had to do was leave him alone, but even while dating her good guy bf, she would still sneak out to see the drug dealer.
If she didn't get too caught up in her ex's business, there's no police breaking down her door at 1 am.

It’s he said she said from what I can tell. The cops say they knocked and announced themselves and that conveniently makes them look better
The boyfriend said they didn’t knock or announce themselves and that conveniently makes him look better.
What is irrefutable is that the police had a no knock warrant in their hand and the people who made that possible are the true menaces to society here.

A neighbor said they heard them knock and announce themselves. I agree about no knock warrants though. You're either a complete idiot or a POS if you blame the cops in that shooting though. I know you arent just saying
