Not a FDB topic. Question about this business concept. But not a Money Board post. Very OT.
What the hell is this you ask?
Hmmmm. Employees "donate" half their tips to the community but get full benefits at an hourly service industry job.
There you go OT Ballers, pony up some cash. Any chance this business model works in Baton Rouge? I am confused as to how they expect to make a profit and attract outside investment.

Think about it. The tip is actually given to the business, and then the business distributes to the employees. The employees would have to be contract workers and directly donate to those charities to put in for the writeoff

I'm not going to claim to know tax laws. I was hoping the employees would get a form with their w2 so they could benefit from it
