New Austin, TX Law That Limits Amount of Unrelated Adults in a House

Trying to book a bachelor party there and keep running into this provision that no more than 6 unrelated adults can stay in a house. One property manager did not like my suggestion that we all just et gay married before the trip. Those of you who have been/ live there, how strict are they in enforcing this thing?

Those laws tend to be geared towards people living together, like college students with multiple roommates. Not people coming in for a weekend.

Its ridiculously strict. No more than like 4 people allowed outside at one time as well

If you aren't Mexican, you aren't violating the intent of the law.

I was in Austin with like 9 guys in a house about a year ago. It was as gay as it sounds and the dude on Air BnB didn't care at all.

Hook a brother up with a cool landlord. This shite is single-handedly turning me into a raging neck beard libertarian.

Just say you are all brothers

And our IDs will definitely not corroborate that. However, we can all be gay married...

There is a reason for laws like this. Don't like it? Blame the trash that couldn't take care of their shite responsibly.
