Did you even go to that website?

The only cause they have ever listed for donations is this gofundme

Their news consists of like 4 stories. They have no information you can find anywhere.

Man you have been scammed

You need a password just to get their "records" with their 50 board member stock photos for 24k total raised

Proof is its been around for almost a year and has 0$ reported on any form until now.

ASSET AMOUNT
$0

INCOME AMOUNT
$0

FORM 990 REVENUE AMOUNT
$0

Unfortunately, I can confirm that he did pass away. Great young man and I feel for his friends and family.

Hit and run drivers who kill people should face a firing squad.

It is a little strange that you can’t find anything on a fatal hit and run in the news

Probably could have kept that to yourself. Maybe just think in your head "hmmm, seems sketchy to me. I'm probably not gonna donate to that." And leave it at that.

No reason to be a dick about it.

Prayers to the family OP.

What is the GoFundMe for, exactly? Emotional suffering? Motorcycle repair? Impress the hot sister? Hot milf?

Link to news story in legit source?

Usually they're for funeral costs or maybe if they have a kid that needs school supplies, but for all we know this young man had life insurance or UM coverage that could assist in that regard.

We are all adults here & can decide if we feel something is legit enough to donate
It’s not your business who & what someone else gives their money to, if it’s a scam & I lose 20.00 so be it

But have a shred of decency on the chance that it is legit & a family that just lost their kid sees it

Both the Sheriff's department and the Coroner's office will have a record of it. As soon as OP announces exactly where this hit & run is supposed to have occurred, it shouldn't take but a single phone call to determine if it's bullshite or true. Hwy 30 runs through both Ascension Parish and East Baton Rouge Parish. Waiting on you, OP.

My daughter knew him through mutual friends and had went to middle school with his gf(jesse lynn?). Seems to be true but is odd there's no news about it.
