Neighbors pipe burst and he’s out of town

This morning we noticed my neighbors outdoor pipe burst on the side of his house facing mine. We rang his doorbell for a few minutes several times throughout the morning, but he never answered.
It’s still gushing and I don’t see any lights on inside now that it’s dark. I don’t know how to contact him. What would y’all do?

Yeah I’d go cut it off but I know all my neighbors so it wouldn’t be a big deal. Call the water dept if you’re not comfortable doing that.

The end of my driveway collects a lot of water and it’s draining there. I’ll have a slab of ice in the morning, but rather that than what he’s got going on

Block it on the house side of the meter. Anything from the meter, to the house is your responsibility.
