Some of you people are absolutely sick.

Someone anti freezed my dog that was fenced in. It is sick how many people are okay with killing someone's animal even a cat.

I'll never understand the hate but it's people like this that make me uneasy about the world.

I don't care for some peoples animals but I don't want to see them killed. So sick

Cats are able to survive better on their own free will than a dog.. They don't go hungry like a dog would and they have good instincts to survive. However it's people now that they shouldn't trust.. And many haters wonder why some are so skittish.. Can't trust people.

I'll never understand how someone can even begin to have the desire to put down a dog or cat.

Cats are an extreme nuisance. Obviously you haven't dealt with that situation before

There is at least one person that won't be killing anyone's pets for a long time, he got 11 years in prison for poisoning dogs and cats in my old neighborhood. In most municipalities baiting and poisoning animals carries at least a six month prison term for each count even if they were wild, or roaming domestic pets, The prevalence of security cameras has made it easier to catch these people. In Louisiana if you have a problem with this even within a cities limits don't bother with the police or animal control, call the Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries.

That's great info, and a great lesson for people reading this thread.

Do not poison animals. You could end up doing hard time in Angola.

Yes, I have.

I have rescued and rehomed well over 30 cats/kittens over the past 4 years I have found around our work. There's now 2 feral cats remained that I have gotten fixed and they don't cause anyone problems and hardly wonder far from the work. I've even spent time with some of the wildest, only to tame them into wonderful pets to be adopted. Just by using some patience and now they have good homes.

It truly sickens me that people are so okay with killing an animal. I had a girl bring over a kitten once from a neighboring business and asked if it was ours, I said no and I couldn't take it.. she then said well I if I take it back the guys at work are just going to kill him. The kitten was purring his head off.. and I had to stop her and take the kitten, because that just is ridiculously sad.

I've been attacked by german shepherds in my own neighborhood just doing a daily jog as a teen, I ended up breaking my wrist pushing him off and getting away from the attack. I didn't do anything to provoke the attack, wasn't even looking at him. Had to wear a cast for 6 months and should have had surgery but could not afford it. The owner gave me some money but it wasn't enough. I never pressed any charges and certain big dogs make me uneasy, but I don't sit here and wish them dead. Not at all.

I've also had a cat growing up get out of the house once and was missing for a month, he finally returned and was clearly abused by a human (not another animal)

They have several organizations, especially where I live where you can get wild animals fixed and then you can release them back for free. I believe people with outside pets should absolutely have them fixed!

If there is an issue then have someone relocate them (if they don't belong to someone, or even see about someone adopting) Some people actually have a need for outside and even feral cats out in the country. Any ways, these sound like they actually belong to people. It's whatever. I have to watch my pets like a hawk because you can't even trust people. I think it's sad that so many have no issue just harming or killing an animal out of ease or because they don't care for them..

Any ways, carry on.. but I ask that you not go killing animals, they very well may be someone's pet. It's easy for you to do it because you have no like for them.. but come on. They pretty much keep to themselves. You're just doing it because you don't care for them and out of ease. I can't make you have compassion or sympathy for something you have a clear hate/dislike for. I just personally don't get the mentality.. and you see this type of mentality by people that turn out to be really sick people very often..

I know after Katrina.. wild dogs were really bad.. and they would often pack up.. and when they pack up and run wild they can be extremely dangerous.. I know a guy who had no choice but to kill them off one of his large properties.. They had to either poison them or shoot them. He didn't like it, but these were savage dogs. I don't know how to feel about that.. but they actually posed a danger to all. Please tell me more about how these cats pose such a threat to you. If it's a problem you don't like then relocate them. Cats, unlike dogs, can survive just fine on their own. They aren't like dogs. They are equip to survive on their own and hunt the food they need.

But not nearly as satisfying. The other good way is to teach them to swim in a canvas bag. Just a cat, a brick and a bridge. its all good. for some extra pizzazz, you can throw the bag out the car window at 30 mph. Works great.
