Neighbor comes to my doorstep being verbally aggressive, can I legally check his knuckles?

Dear Facebook,
Ol baw is about to get them Knucks checked. My dog slipped her collar and promptly shidded in the Neighbor’s yard (I’m the a-hole there) but he comes out screaming like an maniac. Curses me and my dog out. I let that one go and I apologized for it. I said I have a meeting but can have it picked up soon and won’t happen again. He demands I pick it up right now and threatens to bring it to my doorstep. He was informed that his dental expenditures would likely increase significantly if that happened. Nonetheless less, he was invited to bring it to my doorstep if that’s how he felt. He went back inside. It’s been an hour. Now I don’t know if I should even pick it up at all.

Neighbor across the street. Big street. Would have taken like 2 minutes. And yea, I didn’t even get a chance to do that bc he was having a breakdown. So yea you’re right, it would have taken no time at all if he hadn’t acted like a child
