Need your thoughts on an upcoming watch purchase

I am revisiting my watch collecting after nearly 7 years off from adding pieces and selling pieces. Things have been good for us, so I would like to add a couple of new pieces to my currently lonely timepieces. I am not nearly as the level of knowledge or collections TD's own Obtuse and Broke have, so I hope they jump in this thread. I currently own:
Rolex Air-King Ref. 14000
Omega Speed master
Maurice LaCroix's: The Phase De Lune
I am looking at adding another piece to my collection. I am giving a heavy look at a:
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Réserve de Marche
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M 232.32.44.22.03.001
I would love the board's recommendations on their favorite watches at the moment. I am trying to stay under 8k.
Almost forgot this is the OT, sooooo...
I have this to tell time, and I am convinced it tries to kill itself instead of being commandeered by a 3-year-old little girl on lots of Baby Shark, Let it Go, etc songs on repeat all day.

Noooooo oooone
Straps on Gaston
A wrist watch like Gaston
Goes stomping around telling time like Gaston
For there no man in town half as timely
He’s everyone’s punctual guy
Though He can even tell time supinely
He knows there’s a watch that he’d rather have oooonnn

Gaston is sort of a tool with his "high end" self.
Let us pray together for that basketball goal to fall once again on his BMW.

That Jaeger. I have been looking at one of those also.

I was torn between the two, but I think I landed on the Sapphire Crystal Moonwatch. I just wish either carried the date.
How do you feel about them?

feel like you are trying to distract from the girly hands by modeling them in front of a stack of firewood

there's no way them hands chopped that up

Dude, just learn to think for yourself: it’s a watch, not the Holy Grail...

Idk. That's a fairly sizeable abductor on the thumb

My wife gave this to me recently as a bday gift.
I will say it’s impressive how much heft was put in it......love it!
My Rolex sub pales in comparison. It’s really sad actually......I now get what watch snobs have been saying.
The one watch I think definitely holds its own is my Marathon JSAR. Workhorse all day long. The Omega is a stud but I just can’t bring myself to sweat on it yet:)

Yup, my one..$800 watch with seat belt straps. High style does not equal high end.

I just had my grandmother’s Longine’s serviced. I wish I knew more about it. It’s definitely my favorite. Based on the serial no on the movement, it was made in 1953.

Me either... I started cheap... and will continue... G-Shocks and Fossils... wife got me a Baltic Aquascaphe for Christmas... I also have a vintage Movado watch that belonged to my great uncle (needs repair) I think could be worth something...
But my personal collection is all G-Shocks and Fossils... pisses my uncle and brother off ... they believe having 2 or 3 nice watches beat my 56

OP, I’m sure you know this, but prepare yourself for this illness. I thought I was gonna be a “One-watch guy” and then before I know it I have my current collection with plans to add more

Not a big watch guy, but I actually like the look of the straps with that face
What watch is that?
