The student claimed that Wright allegedly began threatening to release the explicit photos of the student to his family and friends unless the two had sex.
Out of fear of the photos being released, the student allegedly slept with Wright, after which Wright allegedly began emailing the student and his mother with random messages from a burner account.
Wright also allegedly extorted the student, requesting $250 through Apple Pay.
The student told police that on Nov. 22, Wright allegedly messaged him and his mother a video of the student naked in Wright's shower. The student claimed that he was unaware that Wright had been recording him.

I've heard of cases where HS or college aged kids have committed suicide over sextortion. Had to warn my kids about over sharing online and how embarrassing predicaments are never worth offing oneself no matter how dire it seems. Somehow this seems like a more implausible reaction though less severe/tragic.

Fake crime report. Guy got caught in the closet and made up this BS to cover up that he was actually a willing participant.
Had a criminal case like this. Girl got caught in a threesome. Said the guys raped her so her boyfriend wouldn’t breakup with her. Charges dropped against the two guys and she was charged with filing a false police report and convicted.
